Warm weather with wind and rain has damaged much of the main lake ice that had started forming on Lake Erie as of 1/4/11. There have been reports of ice fishing for panfish on some of the protected harbors in the western basin. Check with local bait shops or guides before venturing out on Erie’s ice. |
