SMALLMOUTH BASS:

Tom Peterson from Rostraver, PA went out with Ron (Sea Wolf) and came back with this nice 6 pound 13 1/2 ounce Smallmouth Bass. He said they were about one mile west of Walnut Creek in about 18 ft of water.

The next day John Nock of Morgantown, W.V. caught a 6 pound Smallmouth along with Ryan Joyce of Annandale, N.J. who caught a 5 pound 13 1/2 ounce one. They were out with Sea Wolf also. John said they had a ball. He said he caught around twenty fish all together. They were fishing a couple miles west of Walnut in about 20 ft of water. It seems the Smallmouth are the only fish that are biting right now. It should be getting better when it warms up. The water is only 49 degrees yet.

I haven't any other news to tell you.  The fish are
still being evasive and no one can find them.  The Perch or the Walleye.
It is still a little early though.  Usually around the the last weekend of
May is when the fishing starts picking up pretty good.  I will keep you
informed though.
