Eight year old Kelsey Mumau of Marion Center, PA caught this nice 9 pound 8 ounce Steelhead in Walnut Creek. It was caught on green sucker spawn.

Fourteen year old Patrick Russell of Perryopolis, PA caught this 8 pound 5 ½ ounce steelhead in Walnut Creek. He caught it on a Rooster tail.

Darren Park of Beaver, PA caught this male steelhead in Walnut Creek on green power bait. It weighted in at 10 pound 11 ounces.

MARINA OPENING:

Conrad Brink of Clearfield County caught the first fish when the marina opened. It was 14 inches and he caught it 5 min and 40 seconds after we opened the marina. He said “But I didn’t keep i, it was too small.” I told him it didn’t matter. It was still the first fish caught.

Here are some pictures of the people around the marina when it opened on Wednesday. Only around 5 fish caught in the first hour and they were all little ones.
