PERCH:

Eight year old Zach and ten year old Devan Mynes from Beaver Falls, came in with these nice citation sized Perch. The caught them on Golden shiners in 55 ft of water.

Fifteen year old Josh Powell of Slippery Rock came in with his limit of Perch he caught in 55 ft of water straight North of Walnut Creek. He caught them on Pin heads.


On September 10, 2005 the Perch limit will be changed. There will be no size limit and a creel limit of 30 until December 1. Then from December 1 - March 31 (the winter perch fishing season) there will be a size limit of 7" but the limit will still be 30.

WALLEYE:

Twelve year old Elliott Haire of Millcreek came in with this 8 pound 12 ounce fish he caught out in the first trench using a watermelon worm harness on a Black and Purple Dipsey.

Twelve year old Nicholas Ochs of Lucinda, PA caught this 7 pound 9 ounce Walleye on a "mass confusion" spoon in 76 ft of water.

Julie Powell of Slippery Rock caught her 9 pound 5 ½ ounce Walleye in 77 ft of water, Northwest of Walnut, in the middle of the first trench. He came in off the downrigger with a rainbow (gold back) spoon.

Please have your fish in by Friday, September 9, if it is frozen and by Saturday, September 10, if it is not frozen. Don't forget to bring a dish too.
