BOATERS WARNING:

There is a sand bar at the mouth of the channel. Not too sure how big it is now since we have had some nasty weather with very high winds. Just be careful while entering and exiting the channel at the mouth. Stay toward the west wall the last third of the channel.


STEEL HEAD:

Donald A. Cotchen of Hollsopple caught the male on orange power bait in Elk Creek. The steel head weighed in at 10lb 10oz.

Corey, Todd, and Austin Young of Findleyville came in with these three nice angler award sized fish. They caught them on spoons and egg sacks in Walnut Creek.

Phillip Howard of Meadville and his friend Tom Evantz of Burgettstown brought this nice one in for Angler award. It weighed 10lb 2oz. Phillip caught it on a Pnut (minnow).

COHO SALMON:

Matthew Lonchar of Clinton caught this Coho on black jig with maggots. It weighed in at 6lb 8oz.
