Steelhead, Walleye and Yellow Perch 9/24/04

The Steelhead can now be found near shore now. The passing hurricane brought many fish in early in the week. The water now has become clear making for tuff steelhead fishing. Best water depth today was 17 feet near Walnut Creek. Each passing cold front will bring more fish near shore and to the streams.

Walleye action north of Elk Creek and the Ohio line in 73 feet has been great. Fish are deep and on the large size.

Action was good all day Friday 9/24/04 as the cooler became full. All walleye caught were female loaded with eggs. Yellow perch and White bass also were being caught with good numbers. All deep water fish were caught on crawler harnesses.
