The fishing is still pretty good at Walnut Creek. Here is a picture of a 10 pound fish that was caught here the weekend of the 13th.
 Even though we got snow on Sunday I still had this gentleman come in early to weigh this fish which came in at 11 pounds and 11 ounces. The channel is starting to get clogged with a sand bar on the west side growing.
 The marina is not quite froze over yet. This is the last day for the building to be open. I am closing up until April 10, 2004. There are porta-johns for your convenience. The best bait is single eggs, egg sacks, power bait, lures, and grubs. Of course you can fly fish too. Everyone has their special preference. PLEASE pick up your garbage and throw it in the cans or dumpsters. If you have loose line, throw it away too. It makes the place look nice and keeps everyone happy. DON'T LITTER.
