FISHING IS GOOD AT WALNUT CREEK.

STEEL HEAD:
A 12 lb. 8 oz steel head was brought in Friday for an angler award. I also weighted a few Coho Salmon. We had a lot of steel head brought in today (Saturday). Along with the steel head, a brown trout at 6 lb. 9 oz. was brought in for an angler award. The boats trolling in front seem to be doing pretty well too.

PERCH:
The perch are out there but you got to look for them. Boats are getting perch out in 67' of water out from the light house and also they are finding them a little west of Walnut.

The marina basin will be open for fishing TENTATIVELY on Friday, October 31, at 4:00 P.M..

The lights in the South parking lot were not put up because of the high winds we had this week but hopefully they will start putting them in next week.

We are having a problem with littering here too so PLEASE bring a bag with you to put your garbage in. There are four dumpsters around the property please use them for the garbage. And also, PLEASE use the porta-johns for their purpose not as a garbage dump. I put garbage cans in each one so please if you can't use the dumpsters, use the garbage cans, but for garbage only. DO NOT use them for toilets or fish guts. PLEASE
