The construction is on-going on the South parking lot. Boaters are asked to use the East lot until the binding is done. The construction is to be mainly done by the end of June. They are making bigger parking spaces to handle the bigger boat trailers and also putting in 17 lights. All islands are out except for the one closest to the exit road. The paving is hopefully to be started by Monday.

Boaters be careful of nets in the water. They are at 58374.5 - 28880 line.

Walleye are biting on worm harnesses in around 60-65 ft of water straight out from Walnut Creek and also out from the lighthouse in 50-60 ft. We have had some Angler Award size Walleye brought in to the marina for weighing. Average size of fish is 28" for 8 pounder. (Depending on the girth too.)

Perch can be found in 50-55 ft of water straight out of Walnut and out from the lighthouse. Nice size to them too. Anywhere around 10-12 inches the majority.

Small mouth can still be caught in 25 ft of water all along the shore line.
