Where: Walleye fishing has been slow in the western basin. As water temperatures drop walleye should return to the island area from farther east.
How: Anglers trolling are mostly using crankbaits. Yellow perch
Where: Yellow perch fishing was best around Green Island, south of Kelleys Island, east of Kelleys Island, and off the Marblehead lighthouse.
How: Perch spreaders with shiners fished near the bottom produce the most fish.
