The walleye fishing in the Fairport region is slowly improving this week with catches regular occuring in the 20 to 30 fish a day range with some days being better. The fish have moved down the water column however. 40 jets on BERKLEY FIRELINE and 30 Jets with 1.5 ounces 240 back are taking fish if you drag a small spoon like a ZOOM SPOON #200 in orange and Copper, or Pink Lady. Put your outside divers at 220 to 240 and insides at 140 to 180, because those fish are 45 to 60 ft down. I had the wire diver out ticking the bottom in 78 ft of water with a ZOOM SPOON #400 in Chart/Green Pulling fish quite regularly. Put some gas in that boat, because they are out past the 42.00.

Good Luck
Brian
