[ Lake Erie & Tributaries Fishing Report ]

Hello again and sorry i have not been giving reports this year, but i was involved in moving out of Pa and seting up residence in the great state of Ohio.
Now for the current report...
Walleye-the best walleye fishing for me has been along the shoreline from the V.O.L. to cranberry creek, scatterd pockets along with tons of sheephead are present and we have done are best walleye to sheephead ratio by drifting weight forwards and bottom bouncers in green and gold from 18 to 30 f.o.w. using short drift over the walleyes and avoiding long drifts because that usually means more sheep. Remeber keep that weight forward off of the bottom or the gobies will get your worm. If there is no wind (which has not been the problem the last few days) then get those 20 jets out with Zoom Spoon #200 and #68's in coper watermellon, greasy chicken wing, and copper confusion. put em back 45 to 120 ft and get ready to do some sorting though the sheep. big dipseys no ring at 50 foot back on a 3.5.
Perch and smallies still being caught in the reg. spots.
Good Luck and tight lines..
