hi folks,
Sorry for the delay in any postings, i was on lake ontario picking on those king salmon for the last few weeks.. Well, on to the report. Walleye are still being caught and limits are coming on the east side of the sandbar and just northeast of lorain on the 32 to the 34 line. If you venture out to the bar be careful of all those nets that cover bar they are in there heavy. Dipsey set at 110 to 125 on a #3, 75 to 85 on a #2 and 65 to 75 on a #1, Hot colors include wonderbread, great pumpkin in a watsettuse #68, greasy chickenwing, and copper watermellon. Run the 40 jets at 130 back, 30 jets with an ounce 140 back or straight 130's 170 back on spectra.
The perch are staring to school up , but it still takes a half of day to get them all, try in the pack of boats out of vermilion or lorain, but the south and the west side of the sandbar hold nicer fish..
good luck
Capt. Brian
